ABOUT THE EXHIBIT:
Printmaking is an artistic process based on the principle of transferring images from a plate, block or screen onto another surface, most often paper or fabric. Printmaking techniques include monoprint, relief (linoleum or woodcut), screen printing, intaglio, unique and embellished prints. Giclee prints and digital prints are not accepted. Printmaking samples with explanations of the different techniques will be on display at 3S ArtSpace in Portsmouth during the run of this exhibit.

ARTWORK ACCEPTED: 

  • 1-3 pieces of work per artist
  • 2D work – maximum framed dimension 48” in the longest direction INCLUDING FRAME.
  • 3D work - smaller 3D work up to 18”H and must fit within a 12” footprint to display securely on a gallery pedestal. If you have larger 2D or floor standing 3D work, please call the gallery to discuss size and display options.
  • Diptych and Triptychs accepted provided they are priced and treated as 1 piece of art and follow sizing requirements accordingly.

  • By entering submissions on ArtCall the artist agrees to follow the NHAA Framing Guidelines and further agrees to the NHAA Exhibition Agreement which governs the rights and obligations of the artist and the NHAA. OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, July 1, 5-8 p.m.
DROP-OFF SUBMISSIONS: Sun., June 26 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and Mon, June 27, 2022 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
PICK-UP SUBMISSIONS: Sun. July 31 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and Mon. Aug. 1 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
 

ENTRY FEE: NHAA Member: $25 for up to 3 submissions/ Non-member: $35 for up to 3 submissions (to be paid via ArtCall).
